The Relationship Between Driver Home Range and Age, Travel Mode, and Residence
-Analysis Using Property Damage Only Crash Data as Samples of Driver Movement-

In this study, to analyze drivers' mobility behavior, we employed the distance between home and the accident location as a proxy measure for home range. Multiple regression analysis revealed three distinct patterns of age-related changes in home range, while also indicating significant variations based on transportation mode and residential area.

Analysis of Driver Behavior During Intersection Approach

This exploratory study aimed to examine everyday driving habits in a simple way. We used a driving simulator to compare experienced and novice drivers as they passed through intersections with varying visibility conditions. We found significant differences in stop-sign compliance and left-right safety checks. These results suggest that differences in the habituation of routine safety checks may explain the observed behavioral differences.

Effects of Video-Based Reflection and Positive Self-Evaluation on Anxiety in Novice Drivers

This study aimed to reduce novice drivers' anxiety in challenging driving scenarios by examining the effects of reflecting on their own driving by watching a video and positive self or other - evaluation after driving through a driving simulator experiment. Additionally, it investigated how traffic complexity influences the amount of anxiety reduction achieved through each reflecting method. In addition to evaluating anxiety reduction through subjective and physiological measures, changes in driving behavior were also assessed.
